The Ministry of In His Shadow Creations
Teaching
We have many opportunities to partner with ministries teaching workshops, seminars and ministering from the pulpit. We teach both verbally and with hands-on instruction. The various subjects taught are: Gods Purposes for the Arts and Artist, The Arts in the Kingdom of God, Creativity in Worship and Flags in Worship. See the resources section of this site for online teachings.
We add new topics as the Holy Spirit teaches and gives us further revelations.
If you are interested in having us teach contact us at info@ihsworshiparts.com We do not have a set fee but ask that all our travel and housing expenses are covered.
Pastoring Artists
As we are who we are and do what we're doing, we are being watched. We are setting an example for others, especially young people. Our lives are saying, "Come, worship the Lord with all your heart and with all your energy and creativity!" This is extravagant praise to the One who has loved us extravagantly by giving us His best and His most in Jesus.
However, in pastoring artists, we have not just been modeling. We have also been encouraging artists (visual, musical, performing and literary) to follow their artistic calls and use their art for the glory of God, in whatever capacity that may be, whether as a ministry tool or in advertising, clothing design or as a freelance artist (etc…).
Much of our pastoring of artists has been through our relationships and people that live with us and partnering with Artists Junction International (AJI). We also have a monthly Life Group at our house.
Ministering Prophetically As we worship wherever we are we come into agreement with what the Holy Spirit is doing through the worship team and leadership. Performing prophetic proclamations through the spoken word, dance, flagging and other prophetic actions. Frequently when ministering the Lord will give us words of knowledge and prophetic words to minister corporately and individually.
Ministering Through Song and Poetry Arnolda has been given many songs and poems from the Lord that she shares.
How You Can Partner With Us
Do you have a burden in your heart to see artists released in their creative callings, affirmed in their gifts, and mentored in artistic and personal integrity—whether that's in poetry, ballet, acting, painting or playing a musical instrument? Do you long to see beauty, hope and meaning restored to the arts? Does your heart feel for the need of artists to come together in supportive community? Do you desire to see the many areas of the arts used in worship, in teaching, in healing, and in spreading the Good News? Do you want to see the Arts used redemptively to make a positive impact in the neighborhood? If so, please ask the Father how He would have you to sow into this ministry.
In heartfelt gratitude for your partnership and support,
Jan and Arnolda Brenneman.
